Here's the thing: tell the good people who take the time to read your mumbo jumbo journal 10 things about yourself. To which I would probably add: things they most likely do not know already, otherwise what's the point
So, here we go, 10 little details you probably didn't know about myself
1.- I think changing your clothes every single day is extremely overrated, with the noticeable exception of underware, of course.
2.- Sometimes I felt like playing, but, since I'm an only child and I live in the middle of nowhere, I didn't have anybody to play with. So, I took my blanket out of my bed, I tied it to my neck and pretended to be a superhero. Thanks to me, four flowerpots, one cat and three windows have been saved; three tea-cups and a whole set of glasses perished instantly. We just can't save them all.
3.- I have obsessive-like dreams. Sometimes I can't put together a sentence in a way that makes sense (on the grammatical sense) because they keep jumble themselves up, other times setting the table in a proper way is just impossible. Although nothing compares to my Kindergarten nightmares where sand kept getting into my shoes and I couldn't do anything to stop it... mmm, I'm beginning to see a pattern here.
4.- The third glass pane on the right, on the second floor... yeah, that was me. I know it's improbable that right at that moment a baseball flew through the yard and hit the glass, specially when we factor in that baseball isn't very popular around here, but we have to admit I had you all pretty convinced.
5.- When I was in fourth grade my friend and I had a small business renting chewing gum. A rather profitable one!!! At one point we had a small crew of clerks (working on commission, mind you) and over 50 gums being rented at the same time. We obviously didn't know about mononucleosis or any other diseases which could be passes through saliva at the time, but we had a good business going for a while, until my friend's mum caught us and shut us down. Now, to preserve some of what little dignity I have left, I must tell you I never contracted or own services... my friend on the other hand... well, it was a long time ago, let's just give it a rest....
6.- From time to time I go into an educational establishment (the kind you go to after high school), I look for the classes schedule (of any subject that sounds mildly interesting) and walk into that class. So far I've never been caught or thrown out, and I've actually gotten pretty decent grades in all the exams I've taken
Actually, last year a professor asked if I was interested in working as his assistant! Hahhahaha, sadly I don't do that well on my own classes *shrugs*... mystery of life.7.- I've blown my nose on the sleeve of my cardigans many times, and I'm not ashamed.
8.- A couple of times on the sleeves of a very good friend.
(Can't really explain exactly how allergic I am)
9.- I have Asperger's Syndrome, but not an official diagnosis because I don't want it in writing anywhere.
10.- I gave my self and electroshock with a Taser gun when I was about twelve. It belonged to my mother, who rather cleverly left it a home behind the crystal wine glasses. Never before in my life had I seen so many stars, not even when I walked into a lamppost at the tender age of five. What can I say about it? I guess I just watched too much TV.... not that I actually consider that a good excuse.
